Your pantry can forecast your future

 

 

Just like we deep cleanse our skin for health and well being it is vital that we systematically deep cleanse our pantry. Our pantries are the larders of our life. Imagine for a moment that your pantry is your soul. Well to the extent that is correct as our pantries store the fuel which feeds our soul, and nourishes our brains. In our pantries we store our body’s sustenance; the consumables which feed our brain, support our immune system and energizes our hearts. Our pantry reflects our state of mind and can even help to forecast our future.  So in a way our pantries are psychic. So let’s ask our pantry to lay down those tarot cards.

Let’s have a listen to our pantries. What is our pantry trying to communicate to us?

Have a look in your pantry. Look at the shelves, the stock, space, and the order.

What does your pantry say about you?

Is it easy to navigate through your pantry?

Is it categorized into slow release and fast release food?

Are the herbs easy to sort through?

Is there plenty of brown rice, wild rice, cous cous, and durum wheat pasta?

Is there a variety of raw nuts?

Are the oats whole grain?

I ask you to journal your progress, note down what needs to change in your pantry and review the changes. You know the saying ‘the way to a man’s heart is ‘through the stomache? Well changes to our soul start in the pantry.

  • Is your exercise regime sustainable for 99 years?
  • How can you incorporate more ‘by the way exercise’ into your life?
  • How important is weight training?
  • What can you do today, this hour, this minute for your body?
  • What consistent rituals do you follow to help you change your body and sustain that body?

And yes when we learn the ability to change our mind we can change our body
