Do you ever feel lonely? Managing and coping with Loneliness
Hi everyone I am busily working on organizing the Being well wellness website which actually takes a (really) long time. But recently I have been studying Loneliness. I have received several letters about this topic and with the recent western growth of the cult of individualism more and more people are feeling lonely. As a single mum of 4 I also feel lonely at times so I have been studying this topic with much interest. I came across this and wanted to share it with you.

Loneliness is a funny thing isn’t it? ( perhaps not so funny) We can be standing in a sea of people and still feel profoundly lonely. And the answer is not so simple as I first imagined. Yes, we do need intimacy and yes it is simultaneously important to learn to be ok alone…a precarious moment to moment balance that we walk each day.
Let’s reach out to each other with love and conversation. It is through sharing and listening that our loneliness may be alleviated.
